Event Details

Beginner Doubles

This is a Monster DYP. In each round, you will draw a new partner and play a single match, racing to 7 goals. When entering your results, you must record the match score. Goal differential is one of the tiebreakers used to determine the finals. The tiebreakers to rank players are as follows:

1. Wins
2. Goal differential
3. Opponents’ wins
4. Opponents’ goal differential

You will play a minimum of 6 rounds. Finals format will be announced.

Expert Doubles

This is a double-elimination event.

• Winners bracket matches: Best 2 out of 3 games
• Losers bracket matches: Race to 7 goals

Once the losers bracket reaches the match determining 3rd and 4th place, the format returns to “2 out of 3 games” format. There is no overtime in this event.

Friday DYP

This is a double-elimination event.

• Winners bracket matches: Best 2 out of 3 games
• Losers bracket matches: Race to 7 goals

Once the losers bracket reaches the match determining 3rd and 4th place, the format returns to “2 out of 3 games” format. Finals format will be announced.

Rookie Doubles

This is a double-elimination event.

• Winners bracket matches: Best 2 out of 3 games
• Losers bracket matches: Race to 7 goals

Once the losers bracket reaches the match determining 3rd and 4th place, the format returns to “2 out of 3 games” format. There is no overtime in this event.

Open Doubles

This is a double-elimination event.

• Winners bracket matches: Best 2 out of 3 games
• Losers bracket matches: Race to 7 goals

Once the losers bracket reaches the match determining 3rd and 4th place, the format returns to “2 out of 3 games” format. For money matches, the players must win by 2 goals in overtime.  

Women’s Monster DYP

This is a Monster DYP. In each round, you will draw a new partner and play a single match, racing to 7 goals. When entering your results, you must record the match score. Goal differential is one of the tiebreakers used to determine the finals. The tiebreakers to rank players are as follows:

1. Wins
2. Goal differential
3. Opponents’ wins
4. Opponents’ goal differential

Amatuer Doubles

This is a double-elimination event.

• Winners bracket matches: Best 2 out of 3 games
• Losers bracket matches: Race to 7 goals

Once the losers bracket reaches the match determining 3rd and 4th place, the format returns to “2 out of 3 games” format. There is no overtime in this event.

Beatdown Doubles

This is a Monster DYP. In each round, you will draw a new partner and play a single match. The match concludes when 10 balls have been played. The score can result in any possible combination (e.g., 10–0, 5–5, 6–4). When entering your results, you must record the match score. Goal differential determines your rank in this event.

• Players will play a minimum of 6 rounds.
• The number of teams advancing to the finals is based on signups.
• In the finals, the top half of ranked players choose their partners from the lower half during a draft.

Important Notes:

• There is no distraction rule in this event.
• Players are encouraged to have fun and engage in friendly banter.
• Prohibited: Racism, sexism, or homophobic slurs. Violations will not be tolerated.

Handicapped Singles

This is a double-elimination event.

• Winners bracket matches: Best 2 out of 3 games
• Losers bracket matches: Race to 7 goals

Once the losers bracket reaches the match determining 3rd and 4th place, the format returns to “2 out of 3 games” format. The number of points required to win is determined by your rank:

• Beginner: 4
• Rookie: 5
• Amateur: 6
• Expert: 7
• Pro: 8
• Pro Master: 9

If both players share the same rank, matches are played to 5 points. There is no overtime in this event.

Beginner Singles

This is a double-elimination event.

• Winners bracket matches: Best 2 out of 3 games
• Losers bracket matches: Race to 7 goals

Once the losers bracket reaches the match determining 3rd and 4th place, the format returns to “2 out of 3 games” format. There is no overtime in this event.

Open Mixed

This is a double-elimination event.

• Winners bracket matches: Best 2 out of 3 games
• Losers bracket matches: Race to 7 goals

Once the losers bracket reaches the match determining 3rd and 4th place, the format returns to “2 out of 3 games” format. There is no overtime in this event.
